It’s been a while! We hope the holiday season is treating you well. We have some bittersweet & exciting updates for you.
If you haven’t already heard, our Salley has decided to move on from the band to focus on other work. She was a big part of the band and we will miss her many contributions, both on and off the stage. While we celebrate her happiness, we are sad to see her go. Her last public performance was on October 28th at Muddy Creek Music Hall. It was great to share the stage with her one last time and get a chance to tell some of our favorite Salley stories. Our longtime fan Bruce Wehrle wrote a wonderful article about the show. Check it out here. Salley is grateful for the support she has received from fans over the years and you can keep in touch with all of her goings-ons on her Facebook page.
For now, we are back to the original lineup: The (Eleanor) Underhill and the (Molly) Rose. While we are taking a break from live performances for the rest of the year, in January we are packing our bags once again! We are thrilled to perform at Celtic Connections on January 24th in Glasgow, Scotland. It was an honor to play shows in Scotland for the first time this year, and we can’t wait to get back. We will also be playing a few dates in Ireland so please check the tour link for updates.
In the meantime, we are focusing on some new live video footage with the help of our amazing friend Paul Schattel. Fingers crossed that we have a video ready for you soon! Thanks so much for keeping up with us through all of our incarnations. As always, your support means so much to us! We are thankful for you.
Cheers,
Molly + Eleanor
