Happy spring to you. We are certainly enjoying the cherry blossom snow, smell of fresh-cut grass, and the feeling of garden dirt in our hands. It reminds us that things change, making way for new possibilities of the future. Like, maybe Eleanor will actually get a good crop of zucchini this year!

This past winter was obviously hard and heavy for most of us. I’m glad we can say that we’ve made it through. I, for one, am thirsty for music, performance, sharing space with others, and not taking everyday things for granted.

We are gearing up for a handful of private events throughout the Southeast (some of which have been rescheduled twice) and a few public shows as well. We are very excited to return Asheville’s lovely Orange Peel for a socially-distanced, seated show on Saturday, July 17th. Limited seating is available so we recommend grabbing your tickets ASAP here. They are going quickly. Then we have a run (to near Eleanor’s old stomping grounds) to the town of Gloucester, VA on Friday, August 6th, where we’ll play some tunes at Flatiron Crossroads. You can grab tickets for that event here. Stay tuned, because we will also probably be adding some other dates along the way. And by the way, if you are interested in hosting an Underhill Rose house concert, just let us know!

Then–drum roll please–we’ll be back to perform again at Bristol Rhythm & Roots! Our set is on the evening of Saturday, September 11th. Stage and set times forthcoming. We have a limited number of tickets for the festival that we can sell to you at a discount for just $75 for you early birds and $100 closer to the date. Just reply to our email or DM us on socials to reserve your ticket. After Bristol, we plan to head back to AmericanaFest in Nashville, TN to connect with some great folks and see some old friends.

All the while, we have some bigger plans in the works for 2022 that we are excited to share with you: a new album and a tour overseas! Yay! It’s been a long time coming, but Molly and I have filled our minds and hearts up with new songs that we are eager to record. Since our last studio album came out, we have become mothers (Molly) and produced solo albums (Eleanor) and want to bring our new perspectives and experience to the band. We are heart-warmed by the embrace of our fans in Ireland and the UK and can’t wait to get back on a plane! Whoooossshhhh!

In conclusion, we have a lot to be grateful for. There is a lot of history behind us as a band, and also some good stuff in the works. Did you know that our debut self-titled album is turning 10 years old in May! Wow, it seems like just yesterday that we were singing harmonies on that album. Thanks for being fans. Thanks for being awesome. Thanks for keeping in touch.
