Trio set to play Kevn Kinney’s Acoustic Jam at Jack of the Wood on Friday, Dec. 14

ASHEVILLE, NC – Dec. 1, 2012 – Underhill Rose, Asheville’s all-female trio, has been invited to take the stage for Kevn Kinney’s Acoustic Jam at Jack of the Wood on Friday Dec. 14, a part of the 24th Annual Warren Haynes Christmas Jam. Tickets to the event are at the door for $10 on a first come, first serve basis. Performances times will be announced.

“Wow! I cannot believe how many gifts we’ve been given throughout 2012,” said Eleanor Underhill, Underhill Rose co-founder, vocalist and banjo player. “We are so grateful to Warren Haynes and everyone associated with the 24th Annual Christmas Jam.” This appearance will mark the ladies first appearance at the famed event, which is noted for its continuous support of Habitat for Humanity. “I have always seen Underhill Rose as a band that gives back to the community,” said Molly Rose, co-founder, guitarist and vocalist for Underhill Rose. “Our mission aligns nicely with Warren’s and we’re happy to be a part of an event that gives so much to the Asheville area.”

December is a busy month for Underhill Rose, as the band will soon launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise funding for a new album. The group is asking fans to make donations in exchange for rewards that include downloads, house concerts and even voice or banjo lessons from one of the members. The campaign is slated to conclude in mid-January, with the album being completed the following May.
